Since Gauß is in the Math Genealogy Database, we skip Step 1.

Now we go to the The Mathematics Genealogy Project page and find the Carl Gauß page. The address of that page is copied into the Step 2 information field.

Now everything is set, so we choose the output to receive and click the button. After a short wait, a newly generated graph is returned.

The output for this example is shown below (resized to 90% its original size).
